The Family Film Fridays series returns the second Friday of June, July and August. In 2013, the programs were a great success with attendance at each outdoor film averaging 200 community members.
NOTE: This year, the series will be held at North Canton’s Witwer Park. Witwer Park is located adjacent to the North Canton Middle School, making parking very convenient. The park is home to a shelter donated by the Lion’s Club of North Canton, as well as a playground, one baseball field, three tennis courts, one sand volleyball court, one basketball court, one picnic pavilion and restroom facilities.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, a snack and their family and friends.
The series is sponsored by Premier Bank & Trust and is possible thanks to partnerships with the North Canton Chamber of Commerce, the North Canton Community Growth Association and the City of North Canton. Children’s activities begin at 7:30 p.m. and the films begin at dusk. The dates of the events are June 13 (Frozen), July 11 (Despicable Me 2) and August 8 (Babe the Gallant Pig- part of the DogGone North Canton programming).
