  • MedlinePlus - National Library of Medicine's meta-site for healthcare consumers.  Includes NLM publications and articles as well as links to Medline indexed materials.  Great online drug information collections.

  • Dr. Koop's Community - Good health and wellness information from a former U.S. Surgeon General.

  • KidsHealth - Great source of information for kids and kids' illnesses.  Also contains recipes, information on feelings, growing up everyday illness and injuries.

  • Mayo Clinic - Contains reference databases for diseases and conditions, drug information, a first-aid and self-care guide, and answers to specific health queries from physicians and medical researchers.

  • National Library of Medicine - Health information, online exhibitions and digital projects, history of medicine.

  • WebMD - Health and medical resource meta-site with a section for healthcare consumers and a section for healthcare professionals.  Has a section for medical office staff.

  • Merck - Merck manual of diagnosis and therapy.

  • Drug Information by RxList - Searchable Internet drug index.

  • Human Anatomy Online - A system by system visual tour of the human body.  It includes views of individual body parts and a description of their function.
